I just shrug

Shruga motion with your shoulders that indicates you don’t know the answer to something.

Shrug: a cropped cardigan with long or short sleeves

Yes, this one word that is a noun and a verb describes this crazy life I’m living right now. Even though at this age I think I should have more answers than questions, I seem to have said “I don’t know” more in the last year than in the last 10. I’m told this is a good thing. So I’m embracing the “shrug”- the opportunity to learn, grow and chase my curiosity. Reluctantly, but needed none the less, I am also embracing the “other shrug.” You know, those pesky sweater- sleeve things? I have no choice. Everything is sleeveless these days- they’ve chopped off the sleeves on clothes just to sell them as another piece of clothing. And unfortunately at a certain age, you either “pay the piper” for the sleeves or risk looking like you’re carrying around flying squirrels under your arms.

So I’m going to “work the shrug!” – both of them. I hope you will peek in on the journey, the laughs, the questions, the brilliant failures and with God’s help, some success.

Oh and I didn’t know how to set up a blog, so I used this template thing- it will look better as I learn…. hopefully.
