Day 16 of 31: Mid-March Message for Women and Men

Today we make the shift! The past two weeks we were becoming the fearless girl, surrounded by God's angel armies, and facing the bull-so to speak (reference yesterday). Today we become part of the armies surrounding other women who are facing their own enemies. We have readied ourselves as warriors and now we enter a time of intercession for our sisters.

"Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." James 5:14-16

Men, if you are listening in, we would ask for your covering for these next two weeks. We will be lifting our hands interceding in this spiritual battle and we could use YOUR prayers. We need you to hold our arms up. We need your spiritual attentiveness. We need the power of unity with our brothers in Christ.

Ladies, we all know women of all ages who are struggling. Some are depressed. Some are battling loss, insecurity, or their value. They are lonely, stuck, and feeling hopeless. They are weary in the war of disease, parenting, marriage, career, and more. They are captives we are called to free.

Our hearts must break! We must march into the darkness carrying the light and salvation of Christ. I'm unwilling to give one more inch of territory to Satan. He is stirring an uprising in His daughters and Satan is trying to hijack it through politics and agendas. The enemy knows the power of praying, weeping, fighting women. Ironically, or not, I was looking for an image for today's post and put "fighting women" and all the images of women fighting each other! May we be women who fight FOR each other.
